When was the last time your organization had a real telecommunications audit?

When we say "audit" we are referring to a historical review looking for errors and over billings.

We are not comparing telecom carriers or telecommunications services during our audit.

We refer to that as a telecom network optimization review.

A telecom audit performed by Utility Refund Solutions will result in refund checks, refund credits, or the knowledge that you have been billed correctly 100%.

There are several steps in performing our historical audit.

We collect one months worth of all of your telecommunications invoices.

We would also like to see any contracts you may have with any carriers as well.

With a Letter of Authorization (LOA) on your companies letter head, we will request additional information from your carriers, including any customer service records (csr's).

The customer service record provides a billing breakdown of what you are paying for.

Most csr's are made up of USOC's, (Universal Service Order Codes) which look like Egyptian hieroglyphics if you don't know what you are looking at!

Fortunately, we are very familiar with all of the USOC's.

Once we have all of the information that we need, we are ready to get started.

First, we get the telecom inventory together.

Once we have that, we have a better understanding of what your telecommunications environment looks like.

Then, we compare:

invoices to contracts

invoice to csr's

csr's to inventory

This will give us a complete picture of what you have, what you are paying for, and any discrepancies.

If we see any discrepancies, we will contact your carriers and start the claims process to obtain refunds and credits.
